Hey Terry This is really clean now. One couldn’t ask for more from a collab.
I stopped over to see Jim yesterday. He had told me his hands got real sore playing the acoustic so he strung some very light strings and had been practicing.
We played and sung many old song. Ones that I have never heard before. He got a kick out of me singing harmonies. Very difficult for an old man with one leg to to anything.
I am going to move a few things around in my apartment and see if i can get him here. All of a sudden he wants to record (the right way)
I just want to thank you and sir Fly for your efforts. I wish I knew you back when I was recording more. cheers
Nice one Paul, good to hear you’re digging it. I think we’ve come a long way from where it all began.
Would still really benefit from some sweet vocal harmonies I reckon, just to enhance the overall bluegrass flavor.
Great to hear you’re catching up with Jim, fricken awesome mate, hope you have a good one.
As I said, happy to help out man, would be nice to put the finishing touches on this one at some stage, I’m down.
I always wanted to throw a song out there and have forum members take it over and make it shine with their talents. Terry and Fly have done this. I will bring this to Jim today. A thousand thanks to both of you. Paul
Nicely done Feaker and Terry! Happy to help! I really like it with the backup vocals. I really hope he likes it. Still, my favorite part is when he says “that was done in D” at the end. He’s just so authentic. Fun stuff!
Sounds great Paul, happy to help out and stoked that you’ve got something cool to share with Jim.
It was really fun helping out on this one.
What a ripper! Fantastic work everyone!
feaker,
Listened to the first and most recent mixes. Sounds very Southern! The most recent mix turned out really good! :). The key of D, but I give it an A!
