Back on the Ozone 8 Elements -I am upgrading it to Standard for $99, that’s $149 savings. I guess it is about time since I’ve used their old version built into Sound Forge 10 on my aging DAW.
Yes, that is exactly what I would do (indeed that is exactly what I DID do). Although you must run the entire track through the meter to get an accurate reading. I don’t see how you could make any sort of meaningful subjective comparison unless they have both performed exactly the same task.
