Maybe find someone that will fill all of your needs .
Working on it.
He has listed editing as one of his skills, not as part of the gig description.
Ah. Correct. Iāll be careful to take note of that difference in the future. Thanks AJ.
Just another point: That photo might not be him or his desk, or it might be him sat at someone elseās desk. āHeā might even be a woman. You canāt draw any real conclusions other than:
- If you pay the seller at least $5 he/she will mix a track.
- Judging by his/her ratings and feedback, he/sheāll probably make a decent job of it.
If you try to read anything more into it than that youāre probably going to end up well wide of the mark.
All he needs is to feel superior.
In his defense, the ad guy looks more like a car mechanic than a mixing engineer. But, iām hoping itās just a picture taken on a bad, hot day.
Whatās wrong with this guy? I donāt get it. The guy is doing honest work, STARTING at 5 bucks, and Iām pretty sure heās good, otherwise wouldnāt have all those good reviews on fiver. Competition is not easy these days, and maybe he doesnāt need the extra money, maybe he does. I make a pretty decent living as live sound engineer, and last month I mixed/mastered a record with 12 songs for 100 bucks. The guy didnāt have a lot of money, but I did it anyway. Whatās the problem with that?
I donāt think anyone is saying that anything is āwrongā with the guy. Itās just that his description and picture gives the impression that heās a bigger dealā¦ and maybe he is. Maybe heās not. Itās just that $5 doesnāt match up with that visual and description, but heās free to ask whatever he likes. Heās either legit and cheap, or not.
