Hmm. I was thinking about how I would have done that ‘fart expansion pack’.
Slates method seems like it was a lot of extra work. If this was me, I’d have just set this thing up next to a toilet, threw some sound absorption on the walls of the bathroom and simply recorded someone taking a shit. I’d then use the Slate Bomber or the SPL De-Verb…possibly the Waves Smack Attacker to the remove some of the flutter echo from the ceramic toilet bowl.
I think that would make the performance sound more “natural”.
