I kid you not…this stuff was headed for a dumpster if I didn’t rescue it. I got it home and every single microphone in this batch is in perfect condition. OMG I can not believe they were just gonna throw this away. Frickin nuts!

I think they’re pretty decent. No one’s gonna record anything with them, but that antenna booster seems to reach a good eighty feet without much breakup. The 87’s are all beta, they’re just missing the blue rings. 2 58’s are beta, the other 2 are normal. I just can’t believe they were gonna toss these things in the dumpster. You wouldn’t believe some of the orphaned toys I’ve gotten for free around here.
A giant church in my area almost threw this out too. Its a freakin $5500 crossover. Absolutely crazy. No one in the church could figure out how to use it. They thought it was defective and broken. I un muted the master output and holy hell!
Find yourself a really big one, and make friends with the guy who manages the sound gear!!!
Here’s another rescue that almost got trashed. I buddy of mine salvaged this several years ago…I posted this one on RR when he found it lol. That whole thing was gonna get tossed. (I gave him the patchbay though)

man it amazes me when people toss stuff out like that, high schools will do that too…it goes int the closet for years then someone cleans the closet and its dumpster or free handouts…my brother got a nice drumset one time, brand name something too.
