High guys,

Does any one have samples of the big drums used in the link down below ? Or knows where to find them preferably for free :stuck_out_tongue: ?

Its for making an intro track for an album.

look for free taiko samples. I’m sure they exist somewhere.

I haven’t had to do drums like that for a while. If I did I would reach for EW storm drum 2, Motu Ethno 2, or BFD…they make a Taiko set.

Also when track them down these drums are not “that Big” They are layered. I hear atleast 3 layers with wide panning. There is not a ton of low end on them and just a bit of reverb.

Thanks guys :slight_smile: I will look for these things and try to get it working. Yeah I also had the feeling it was a few layers :slight_smile: Gonna experiment with that!

I might like to try that SCC VI, it says it uses SFZ format. I know I played with SFZ sometime in the past but don’t recall much about it. I see there are free players and instrument files out there … any recommendations on good free ones? Also, just curious if the name brand samplers handle those too - SampleTank etc?
