I changed the last verse…update
Been a week messin with this. Trying to keep this recording thing going. I stayed with my wierd song approach. Lame lyrics
I need a complete different third verse pertaining to lawyers etc. Changed the speed from 114 to 120. Poor song, this one, but I needed a needed crutch to bridge this doldrum.
Money talks
Money talks… money buys… money wins… the poor man cries
Money talks… money buys… money wins…the truth slowly dies
Money talks
Look at him he’s walkin tall…so much betta… than y’awl
A little smirk…so confident…successful dude…he’s got it all
He winks at the judge there eyes meet…another accusation’s about to fall
Investigation preparations lawyers busy digin up dirt
Backroom deals this one gal squealed.that man right there lifted up my skirt
She’s lookin for a big pay day…no evidence he’s gonna walk away
Money talks… money buys… money wins… the poor man cries
Money talks… money buys… money wins…the truth slowly dies
This old pervert will strike again…he likes em young this will not end
What kind of message did this send…his innocence he does pretend
A judge can easily be bought…… a jury trial would see him rot
catchy Chorus! Lyrics dont seem lame to me. they are simple and catchy.
For some reason I hear like an Aerosmith like scream coming up right after the chorus …“Monneyyyyy Talks…” haha. But don’t worry, I would most certainly not want you to blow your vocal chords
Hey Michelle. I just tried the high money talks. I have allergies presently and could only get out the money and not the talks without a choking episode. I also noticed it was dragging a bit and upped the speed from 114 to 120. Seems better. I need a whole new last verse that is inline with lawyers etc. Thanks for your listen and comments. Not a great song, but I was affraid I was going to lose my way, so this helped.
Hey Paul, nice’n’bluesy! I agree with Michelle - very catchy chorus. The style of loose harmonies you’ve been exploring lately is really interesting and individual. I could go with either speed. Keep on creatin’!
Love the guitar tracks.
No lame here!
Money can really persuade most situations.
I think every one has a price.
Great work, again, my friend!!!
Stay well, and keep making 'em great music!
