Interesting. Worth saying you can do almost all that is mentioned there in most well made DAWs.
And NOTHING there about the actual process of mastering, which is sad.
I use Ableton Live for recording mixing two-tracks and mastering, but here’s what i find myself using mostly during the mastering process:
Parametric Equalizer
Compressor
Stereo enhancer/widener
Tape Saturation
Brickwall Limiter
On most cases that’s it!

Eq cuts
Compress
Eq boosts
Gain
I have Studio one 2 I wish there was some help for the beginner somewhere. The Youtube videos are poor. I have tried a few things and my songs sound worse. Something like…the limiter generally can be set to… I know that is vague, but for me it would help.
