I take it this is what they are calling Music Maker Jam at the point you can actually download it (took me several clicks and searching). Looks interesting, but it’s only for Windows 10 and 8.1 … I’m on Win7 and they even told me “This app does not work on your device.” It looks like a Windows version of Garageband to me, just on quick appraisal.
Good to know! That surprises me that they would exclude 7. That’s lame.
Probably working in cahoots with Microsoft to convince users to move to Windows 10. </paranoid_mode=on>

Here is the link… you can compare the paid version with the free version
Nothing is for free but for someone starting out sure why not…
Hmm, following the Technical Specifications, I saw something different than I saw before. It showed the Windows 10, 8, and 7 icons, followed by processor and memory specs. I was a little confused when I previously saw only Windows 10 and 8 listed. Virtually everything that is compatible with Windows 8 also applies to Windows 7, although I think I have seen a few exceptions.
It’s a 700MB download, just FYI. It seems to be working for download/install on Windows 7.
UPDATE: Installed and playing the demo. Works on Windows 7 and has a pretty easy buffer and options window in the system tray. Isn’t Magix the Mixcraft, Samplitude, and Sequoia people? I wonder how this product compares.
Nice! I’ll be curious to see what you think of it! Feel free to write a review
