Also something to note, that damn Peavey is heavier than I like soooooooo… I ordered a Schecter Omen Extreme 5. It’s supposed to ship on November 8th. I based the order on the fact that my regularly played bass is an Omen Extreme 4 that I love so much, I got it tatted on my right leg (which hurt my old hips and knees from laying on my left side for 4 hours). LOL
Our first gig will be on New Year’s Eve. I’m pretty excited and nervous all at once.
Those are some sweet looking basses! I’m anxious to hear how it goes.

She arrived yesterday morning. I played her for a couple hours. Pretty sweet. I’m taking her tomorrow to get a proper setup and get some flatwounds on her. Much lighter than the Peavey Foundation. I’ll have a real pic of her for you all soon.
Looking forward to it! I don’t play a ton of bass, but I ended up putting flatwounds on mine also, and I really love the feel and tone of those. For some reason, the feel of those help me break away from the guitarist mindset when I’m playing bass. lol
Here she is. I played her last night at rehearsal and she sounded great. I’m taking her to a friend today to do a proper setup. It’s almost setup right but just a hair off. He will also put these strings on her.
