the new look of Logic is welcome. My eyes thank apple for it, not
for the price of the new Macbook Pro.
What do you think about that (once again) free update ?
Was working with logic for many years (from Platinum 4 to Pro X)

I down loaded the new update on my laptop and have watched the groove3 tutorial of the new features. I like the direction they are going with the software. Many cool enhancements. I particular I like that each plugin will tell you its latency if you hover over it, The alternate take lane is cool. Also the region based editing enhancements are great. There is still a bunch of things I hate about logic but it is my poison of choice:)
I am not a fan of the 2d graphic look they are going for. I hated it when they did that on iphones. I like realistic looking graphics not southpark looking things on my computer. If it means I’ll have better performance because the graphics take less CPU then I am fine but I don’t think that is the case.
Holy shit!! I must downloaded it weeks ago because my app store said ‘already installed’. I’ve haven’t used it once. Had you not mentioned it I probably wouldn’t have realized it had been updated.
Might disagree with you there. Totally opinion of course. Less is more on the graphics for me.
I’m sure as hell glad they didn’t re-arrange everything!!! Everything’s where it was, and my old sessions open. Those were my 2 OMG’s.
I have a 5k monitor and the black trashcan mac pro with the decked out graphics card. It certainly looks better in HD mode.
I like that it has now has 256 busses. Step in the right direction for people who work in post production. Also nice to see improvements in the digital summing. This will also help down the road if we ever get anything above 7.1 put in Logic.
