Thanks for the great article. I remember being 14 and staring at a purple Les Paul copy on the wall at the music store, thinking about how my life would be perfect with that guitar.
I owned a Tele in high school, and sold it for $125. Probably a 1969. What would that be worth today?
Imagine growing up like Jeff Beck. Your pals are Clapton and Page, and you all go from playing pubs to playing concert halls in the US within about a five year period. Nice work if you can get it.
