Man, if I ever get to build a studio that tracks instruments, I would LOVE to have a layout like this. It just seems so dang functional. Think of how easy the routing is from the live room to the machine room to the control room. And all 3 rooms have line of site.
I like to be able to see my machine rack. Not for the reason of admiring its glorious metallic splendor, but to see flashing red error lights, or peak meters on converters, or hard drive failure notifications.
Any of you guys have room layouts you like?
