I’ve never really considered putting my music out there, but now that I have enough songs that are professionally mixed and produced, I’d like to take the plunge. What are the best suggestions you have as to getting this done properly?
At this point in time, my vote would be BandCamp. It’s free, fairly easy to set up, and IMHO a great way to put digital copies of your music “out there”. You can charge for it or not. And you don’t have to fuss with setting up your own domain/website, etc.

I like Distrokid for online distribution. I’ve had some problems with it, but everything eventually got resolved and it’s a cheap way to get you music in all of the various online stores.
