Ha yeah, they do have that sound.

But to me, the one that does it better is the JCM 800. That amp is just a savage beast. Hit it with an overdrive and oh my God…

My most recent guitar acquisition is a LP '60s Tribute, so pretty similar to Bryan’s '50s model, it also has the P90s. I just love its sound, a great combo of bite and warmth. (I am still getting a frisson by being able to type warm.) Here she is:

Ha yes it is. I love it. The smaller one on top is a 50w Plexi. It’s pretty gnarly too. It’s actually more aggressive than the 100w,
