Here’s my 2 cents on guitar cables. There is not a discernible enough of a difference in tone that would warrant the huge price differences. I’d rather put the money on pedals, amps, guitars. They are prettier anyway 
That’s just how I feel about comparing the tone differences.
In my opinion, what justifies any price increase from a budget/cheap cable is the build quality and longevity. Generally my personal experience has shown that spending just a bit more than the cheapest cables has given me cables that are reliable under a number of years of abuse.
As someone who has worked in and now owns a guitar shop, I have lost count of how many high dollar cables I’ve had to replace under warranty because the actual build quality sucked.
