G'day - referred by the legacy recording review site

G’day guys,

I was a member of Recording review years ago and went looking for it. I’m bummed that it is no longer but I’m relieved that places to talk about how bad I am at home recording still exist.

I’m about to upgrade my M-Box mini as it is getting noisy just having it plugged in… I’m likely going with a Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen (my budget is around $400 AUD and the 4i4 is about $420). I use PreSonus Studio One 2 pro. I’m looking forward to playing with midi and virtual instruments in addition to recording vox and acoustic/electric guitar.

Midi is a beautiful thing. I treat it like any other recorded source and just commit once its written. Save your cpu and bounce it to audio!
