Hmm, I’m not really convinced with many tone choices in this mix and comparing it with Mike Senior’s one, the later is more “metal-compliant” to me.
I mean it sounds really disconnected where the purpose of this genre (mostly) is to create a big solid wall of all tracks melt into one piece shouting at you loud.
I won’t add many but using Mike Senior’s mix as a reference (or songs in that genre) to compare how to handle it.
By the way, the song is playing right in this ballpark.
