Yes, I agree AJ… hi pass overheads - low pass close TOMS brutally… band pass ROOMs’ for the low mid glue, obvs this is just a guideline…
just to elaborate… as a rule of thumb.

high pass ALL overheads, except if you need proximity or extra low end.

band pass all rooms, keep the low mids… i.e. anything within 30ft (especially a ribbon) of the kit is generally good for low to high mids in the mix…

well… just do the right thing, (edited for clarity) by just listening to what your mics are really good at, and combining your stereo pairs to deliver that… this will also help you overcome phase issues…
