Good mix and certainly different from your choice of usual songs.
My only comment is that I thought the drums were a bit too much ‘in your face’. To get a more authentic New Orleans vibe (which is my assumption about the direction from which the song came from) a more subdued high fq of the drums would do the trick. Just cut a bit with a high shelf. Same for the vocals. They’re great as modern music goes, but a little bit too much in relation to the vibe of the song.
Edit: It’s staring me in the face: Tulsa not New Orleans. But close enough from my perspective on the other side of the ocean :innocent:
