Anyone running Digital Performer on Windows?

I see that they now support Windows. Thoughts?

I loved DP 4.5 on Mac and am wondering about switching camps from Studio One.

I have Logic and Digital Performer on mac. I know thats not what your looking for but I thought I’d respond:) I haven’t been able to switch from logic to DP. There are some great things about DP but I am so used to logic’s workflow.

I’m the other way around, Logic never agreed with me. I’ve worked in DP a while back and liked quite a few of its features, especially the staff notation window, excellent midi humanize features and one thing I haven’t seen in any other DAW yet:
if you have a midi drum track running midi out to say drum machine or even drum plugin, you could mute all but one drum, it was excellent as you didn’t have to create say 8 copies of the original track and manually delete drum, snare, etc. on each so you can render only say snare, tom, etc.

When I was deciding on a DAW a couple of years ago, I tried out AudioDesk, DP’s entry level DAW that had just been released for Windows. I really wanted to like it, but I kept having issues and bugs and eventually moved on. I’m sure they’ve had time to fix things, but it was not very solid a couple of years ago. Interesting that I chose Studio One then and haven’t looked back.

Studio One’s been giving me a bit of grief lately, plus the midi is just too basic. There midi/composition tools on DP that were fantastic.
