@Danny_Danzi and I were talking earlier about how a lot of UAD videos just make stuff louder and then go ‘look - it sounds good’. He moves quickly, no B.S., wish people made more videos like this. I almost wish he would have stayed just a second or two longer on each setting. Cools stuff though.
I’ve never used one of these in person. I like the UAD version of it though. I do imagine the hardware plug is slightly different sounding. But at $5000 (which is a grand more than even the Manley Vari-Mu), I could make a whole list of things that I’d rather have. Sadly enough. I guess its one of those units that best admired from a distance.
