no, I meant that we have to factor that in when we are asking what CLA meant by “low volume”. Im sure he means “low volume in a perfect studio room” lol
Hey JJ @Jon-Jon, have you read Mike Senior’s book, Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio? I (and others here) highly recommend it. He tackles many of the issues you have been discussing here in ways that I think you will find immediately relevant and useful, such as monitors, dealing with room sound, and, well, pretty much everything someone in our situation needs to deal with. Very entertaining writing style as well. I’ve just recently finished reading it and am going to read it again here shortly, so much great info in there. Check it out.

I used to read books quite a bit but the internet finally killed that habit. My bedroom still looks like a library though
Get it on a Kindle or Nook app then, and read it on a tablet or laptop. 
That’s what I did!
