I’ll be interested to hear how that works out @holster , I’d like to recommend this setup to friends who are gigging.

Worked amazing! Actually, my friend was cracking up afterwards and told me that I was blending in with the tracks so well that he forgot I was there

The backup tracks are working well then, that’s great! @holster can you run down your setup for us? Are you using IEM’s and a mix board or just a laptop with Ableton? Was it hard to get a good mix?

This is gonna be kind of long winded and erratic so forgive the squirreliness in my reply.

One thing I neglected to mention is that I also put an audio track (panned hard left with the click) in front of each song with the song title and the number of clicks to count in a song. For example, one of our songs is Dust on the Bottle by David Lee Murphy so before that track begins you’ll hear:

DUST ON THE BOTTLE, 4 CLICK COUNT IN.

This also helps you from having to look at your setlist after every song.
